Amanda Lessner is Stuttgart, Germany’s award-winning family photographer. Through her laid-back sessions and unique use of composition and light, Amanda captures real moments beautifully in heirloom quality images you’ll treasure for a lifetime. During her 15 years in the industry, Amanda’s photos have been published in Click Magazine, reached Top 10% in Shoot and Share, received Honorable Mention in the International Photography Awards, and been a Daily of the Week at Click & Co.
As a former elementary school teacher and mom of 4, Amanda brings her bag of “teacher tricks” to every session. Silly string, bubble machines, and lollipops are not uncommon while belly laughs and goofiness are a staple of every session!

“We just finished our SIXTH photo session with ALP. Mandy’s talent was obvious when we first crossed paths in DC and we were so thrilled with our National Mall shoot we used her for our maternity, newborn, monuments and Virginia Fall sessions as well. When we moved our separate ways (military families) I was sad she wouldn’t be part of capturing our family in the future. After our move to Germany, I was beyond thrilled to see Mandy’s family would also be moving to Germany and was so thankful she spent all the time and effort to restart ALP in Germany. As always, scheduling with Mandy is extremely streamlined and easy (all online) and our shoots with her—it feels more like a stroll with friends it’s never a forced posed event (even with my 3 strong-willed kiddos).
