Aloha, Hawai’i!!
It's been 8 months!! That’s by far the longest break I've ever taken in the 11 years I've had my business!
As a seasoned (I won’t say old…) military spouse, I’ve learned that every time we move, things are unpredictable. Our December move from Virginia to Oahu was no exception. The plan had been to jump right back into business after we found a house and settled. Covid and schooling issues had other ideas! Instead of getting right back into photography here in Hawaii, I ended up dusting off my teaching degrees to homeschool my oldest through his second half of second grade. And so my planned short break turned into 8 months!
Now that it’s August, the kids are finally all back in school in-person and I'm diving back into full-time photography!! My heart is so happy to be back and in such an incredibly beautiful location too! I'm looking forward to meeting new families and capturing new stories here on Oahu!!
