Ramkissoon | Ka’a’awa
Yesterday morning, I had the pleasure of joining a lovely family of four at Ka'a'awa Beach for a sunrise photos! The family, who are visiting from Texas, were eager to capture some memories of their trip before they head back home on Wednesday.
The family consisted of a mom, dad, their son and daughter. Their oldest is graduating from high school this year and they wanted to take advantage of the beautiful backdrop at the beach to capture some photos of him in his graduation cap and gown.
As we arrived at the beach, the sky was just starting to light up with a warm orange glow. The waves were calm, and the beach was nearly empty, which was perfect for the family to have some uninterrupted time together. We started with some family photos, capturing the joy and love that they have for each other. The parents were beaming with pride, and the kids were having fun with the whole experience.
We then moved on to some individual photos of the oldest son in his cap and gown. He was clearly excited to be graduating soon and was eager to show off his achievement. We took some traditional poses and some more fun and creative ones, including jumping shots and a few where he was tossing his cap in the air.
Throughout the session, the family was full of energy and enthusiasm. They were open to trying new poses and locations, and we had a lot of laughs and good times.
As the session came to an end, the sun had fully risen, and the beach was starting to get busier with other tourists. We said our goodbyes, and the family went off to enjoy the rest of their vacation. It was a pleasure to work with such a lovely family and to help them capture these special memories that they will treasure for years to come.
