Halfway! - My 366 Project
What a year to have chosen to do a daily photo project!
I completed one back in 2016 (another leap year, ironically) when my oldest turned 3 and just figured the year the twins turned 3 would be a great year to do another — like all of us, I had no idea what was to come and that 2020 would be a formative year of my kids’ childhood in ways I could never have imagined. From lessons in racial justice, to a global pandemic, and we can’t forget the murder hornets —this year is one for the books. I’ve been capturing tiny pieces of it from our little corner of the world each day and am proud to have made it halfway through!
I highly recommend a 365 project for anyone who wants to remember those fleeting moments of their kids’ childhood. I find that when I force myself to take a photo each day, I capture so much more than if I only grabbed my camera when I felt like it. And don’t feel like you have to start on January 1st! I know plenty of 365-ers that start in the middle of the year!
This is the canvas that will hang in our home when it’s complete!
Here are some of my favorite images so far!!
